The Game
Get ready - the game might be tough.
There is an energy bar that will give you a bad time: you’ll spend energy not only on abilities, but also just to stay within the same loop (not to mention the hazards).
Use the loops wisely to make your path easier — by finding or even building your own way through.
This version of the game was made under the tight time constraints, so you might encounter some bugs, glitches, or less-than-perfect controls. However, the game is 100% beatable — we guarantee it!
The game was developed for the Game Maker's Toolkit Game Jam 2025 under the "Loop" theme.
Controls
- Move with A and D
- Space — jump — and press it again while in air to double jump
- S — blink / teleport
- Mouse — to aim freeze/unfreeze spell
- Click LMB on moving object — freeze
- Long press LMB on frozen object — unfreeze
- Hold RMB — shield (invincibility)
- E — put the core into the freezer (long press)

Great game! The art is beautiful and the music is really good.
Love the art for this one! Had a lot of fun running back and forth, that animation looks great! I found the level design to be very punishing -- health depletes with time, health depletes with enemy damage, health depletes when using your power, and several jumps that require a good bit of precision and/or a perfectly placed freeze to get right (or else fall and lose time or die). Going back to the very start many times made this one tough to stick with -- which is a real shame, because I was very excited about the four powers and how they would work into the level design.
Music was an absolute bop!
Thanks for the feedback! I consider adding the easier game mode, so not only hardcore players can finish the game :)
